HoCo splits with Loganville in title series; Game 3 Tuesday
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The overcapacity crowd at Monday’s GHSA AAAAA Championship Series at Houston County High School got its money’s worth.
Houston County’s Bears and Loganville’s Red Devils split a doubleheader to force a deciding Game 3 Tuesday.
The Bears took the first game 7-3 before falling 4-1 to the Red Devils in Game 2.
In Game 1, Houston County’s Tony Locey struck out 11 batters in six innings, gave up eight hits and allowed three earned runs.
DL Hall was pulled in the fifth inning of Game 2 after striking out 10 batters and giving up one run.
Game 3 is Tuesday at 6 p.m.
