Historic Train Festival celebrates Forsyth’s railroad history

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Every year Forsyth remembers the important role the railroad played in its history.

Saturday’s third annual Historic Train Festival featured a train safety simulator, vendors and a chili cook off. There was also live music and an art auction. The Monroe County Historical Society partnered with the Forsyth Main Street Office to host this year’s event.
