Historic Macon Foundation’s annual flea market opens this weekend
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The forty annual Historic Macon flea market fundraiser kicks off this Saturday.
You’ll find vintage chairs, silverware, knickknacks, and more.
Rachelle Wilson is the Director of Engagement for Historic Macon Foundation.
She said the annual fundraiser is special.
“Everything in here has had a past life and was donated by somebody in our community,” Wilson said. “And sometimes they donate new things and sometimes they donate antiques, sometimes they donate things that have really interesting great stories and if we know the stories we try to post that with the item. ”
The flea market public sale will begin Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and then continue Sunday starting at 1:00 p.m.
But, if you would like to shop before Saturday, you can buy a $25 ticket from Historic Macon to shop Friday night during the preview party. The ticket includes dinner.
