Hancock Central looking for first winning season since 2006

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It’s been consecutive 4-6 seasons for the Hancock Central Bulldogs, who are hoping for their first winning season in nearly a decade. 8th year head coach Zachery Harris knows the group of guys he has on his roster can come out on top in a region that includes powers Aquinas and Lincoln County.

The Bulldogs only scored around 19 points a game last year, and will be heading into 2015 with an unproven quarterback in Brandon Sibert.

On the defensive side, Hancock Central had a decent result, allowing 20 points a game in 2014. While his team will only be returning four starters from last year, Coach Harris says his squad has gained more athleticism with the infusion of his new recruits.

The first game of 2015 for the Bulldogs will be on August 28th versus Baldwin.
