Gwinnett County police searching for two men accused of spraying verizon store employees

SNELLVILLE, Georgia (AP) – Gwinnett County police are searching for two men accused of spraying two Verizon store employees with mace during a robbery.

Department spokesman Deon Washington said in a statement Monday that two men robbed the store in Snellville on Monday morning and fled with 65 mobile devices.

Washington says while one man grabbed phones, the second suspect sprayed two employees in the face with mace.

Police say the other suspect became angry with his accomplice and apologized. The man told the employees to make sure they washed their eyes out.

Police say the men duct taped the employees before they fled the scene.

The suspects are described as two black men in their early 20s who were both thin and wearing black baseball caps, black hooded sweatshirts and black face paint.
