MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — First Lady Gwen Walz, wife of vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz, will be in Macon on Thursday as part of a canvassing event.

The event will start at 12:45 p.m., according to a campaign spokesperson, though the specific neighborhood location has not yet been announced.

The canvassing event is part of the “2024 GA Victory” campaign, an effort by Georgia Democrats to boost voter turnout for the 2024 election.
