GSP: 2 killed in Friday night crash on Zebulon Road
A Tennessee woman and a Byron man are dead after a crash in Macon Friday night involving a sedan and a motorcycle.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Tennessee woman and a Byron man are dead after a crash in Macon Friday night involving a sedan and a motorcycle.
According to Georgia State Patrol, troopers arrived at the intersection of Zebulon Road and the entrance of Carlyle Place just after 8 p.m. to investigate a crash involving life-threatening injuries.
The preliminary investigation shows a Ford Focus exiting Carlyle Place drove into the path of a Suzuki motorcycle that was eastbound on Zebulon Road.
Macon-Bibb Coroner Leon Jones says the Focus driver, 82-year-old Mary Hodder of Kodak, Tennessee, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:31 a.m. 24-year-old Zachary William Buehler of Byron, who was driving the motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the hospital at 5:17 a.m.
Hodder’s 88-year-old husband was traveling in the front passenger seat of the Focus. Troopers did not reveal if he was injured, but Jones said he was in stable condition at Atrium Health Navicent.
