FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Griffin woman has been arrested on charges of methamphetamine distribution and trafficking following an undercover investigation by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.

Chasity Perry was taken into custody last week after investigators conducted multiple undercover buys and identified her as the suspect involved in selling narcotics in Monroe County. Perry is being held without bond in the Monroe County Jail, according to Monroe County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Anna Watkins.

According to Watkins, the investigation began after the sheriff’s office received numerous complaints about a female suspect selling narcotics in the area. She says investigators were able to identify Perry and gather evidence through several undercover operations.
