Governor Deal suspends Dooly County school board

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Governor Nathan deal has suspended all the members of the Dooly County school board.
Deal is acting on the recommendation of the state board of education.

The governor has appointed a panel to nominate replacements.

Governor Deal said the move had to be made for the Dooly County school board to keep its accreditation and best serve the 15-hundred students in the county.
