Gordon City Council hires interim city attorney

According to former City Attorney Joseph Boone, Ronny Jones is expected to attend the next City Council meeting as the interim.

The Gordon City Council fired Boone unexpectedly, and now Boone says he’s still looking into the legality of the vote.

He’s asked Jones to do the same.

We were able to reach Jones, but he declined to comment on the matter, only saying he is transitioning into the role.
