Gordon City Council chooses an attorney to fight an EEOC complaint

GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Gordon City Council has decided who will represent them in an EEOC complaint.  Attorney Charles Richardson has worked with the board in the past.

The Gordon Police Chief filed the complaint.  Mike Hall claims Mayor Mary Anne Whipple-Lue told people confidential information about a previous complaint.  He also says the mayor is still creating a hostile work environment for him.

A councilman tells 41NBC, Richardson has until April 21st to respond to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
