Golf tournament benefits Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Golfers are hitting the links to help at-risk children across the state.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Sheriff’s Association are hosting the Steve Byrd Memorial Golf Outing on Monday, October 5 at Houston Lake Country Club.

The two shotgun starts are at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. There will be a luncheon at 11 a.m.

It costs $100 per person, $400 per team and $100 to sponsor a hole.

All of the money raised will benefit the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes.
