Georgia’s casino gambling bill fails to make crossover deadline
ATLANTA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The possibility of casino gambling coming to Georgia is on hold.
The bill failed to make the crossover deadline in the state legislature.
The bill called for the allowance of casino gambling, sports betting, and horserace betting.
Representative Rick Williams says the bill is dead for this session. Lawmakers plan to reintroduce the bill in January 2021.
