ACC releases early Georgia Tech kickoff times, TV assignments

The Yellow Jackets will open the season against Colorado and Tennessee in nationally televised ESPN matchups.

ATLANTA (41NBC/WMGT) — The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets football team will open the 2026 season in primetime and will have multiple nationally televised games during the first month of the season, according to the ACC.

The Atlantic Coast Conference released kickoff times and TV assignments Wednesday for the opening weeks of the 2026 college football season.

Georgia Tech opens the season September 3 at home against Colorado at 8 p.m. on ESPN.

The Yellow Jackets will then host Tennessee on September 12 at 7 p.m. on ESPN in one of the ACC’s featured nonconference matchups of the early season.

Georgia Tech will also host Mercer on September 19 at noon on the ACC Network.

The ACC also announced the Yellow Jackets’ September 26 road game at Stanford will kick off at 10:30 p.m. Eastern on ESPN.

The conference says additional kickoff times and TV assignments will be announced later in the season.
