Georgia tailback Todd Gurley suspended indefinitely
ATHENS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The University of Georgia will be without star tailback Todd Gurley when the Bulldogs travel to Missouri.
The school announced Thursday the junior is suspended indefinitely during an investigation into an alleged NCAA rules violation.
“I’m obviously very disappointed,” said UGA head football coach Mark Richt in a statement released by the school. “The important thing for our team is to turn all our attention toward preparation for Missouri.”
The No. 13 Bulldogs and No. 23 Tigers meet Saturday in Columbia, Missouri at noon.
