Georgia Power staging utility trucks at Centreplex in preparation for Irma

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Utility trucks began lining the parking lot of the Macon Centreplex Sunday ahead of Hurricane Irma coming through Georgia.

More than 60 Georgia Power and Badger excavation trucks are mobilizing at the entertainment center. With much of Middle Georgia expecting wind gust of around 70 mph, downed trees and power outages are likely.
