Georgia National Fair launches user-friendly mobile app
PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – New exhibits and entertainment aren’t the only thing fairgoers can look forward to for this year’s Georgia National Fair.
Attendees will now get the full experience at their finger tips by downloading the Georgia National Fair Grounds mobile app.
“We encourage everyone to download our Georgia National Fair App to your smart phone,” said Marketing Director Keaton Walker.
For the first time in the fair’s history, they’ll offer information via app.
“All you have to do is simply look up Georgia National Fair Grounds in your app store it is free to download,” Walker explained.
The app features the full schedule of events and acts through out the week, and it’s available in both English and Spanish.
“You can build your own schedule you can see where everything is going to be located,” Walker said.
You can even use it to remember where you parked.
“It has a built in GPS system,” she told 41NBC.
Using GPS, the app can actually pin where you parked your car.
“So, at the end of the night if you’ve kind of get turned around after all the fun you’ve had with your family, you can go back, find your car and it will guide you back to your car,” Walker continued.
Using the app, you can also get up-to-the-minute updates regarding fair information from emergency messages to births over at the new baby barn.
