Georgia Military College football defeats Kilgore College, 42-28

KILGORE, Texas (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia Military won its first road game of 2015, beating Kilgore 52-28 Saturday to remain undefeated.

Deshaun Santiago started the scoring for the Bulldogs, reeling in an 8-yard touchdown pass midway through the first quarter. On the ensuing Kilgore drive, David Mims added another GMC score on an interception return for a touchdown.

The Bulldogs’ defense shined again on the next drive, forcing a fumble that went out of the back of the end zone for a safety.

Leading 30-6 just before halftime, GMC’s Devonte Jones caught a 30-yard touchdown pass to give the Bulldogs a 37-6 lead at the break.

GMC (3-0) stays on the road next weekend with a Sunday visit to Harrisonburg, Virginia to meet ASA College of New York. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
