Georgia baseball dismisses first baseman Adam Sasser

ATHENS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Adam Sasser has been dismissed from the University of Georgia baseball team, according to a school release.

Sasser, a senior, was accused of making a racial slur during the football team’s game against Tennessee Saturday.

The first baseman batted .317 in 59 games last season with 10 home runs and 44 RBI.
