GDOT closes all US 441 lanes for GSP investigation
MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Tuesday morning, the Georgia Department of Transportation is closing all US 441 lanes. This allows the Georgia State Patrol to conduct a follow-up investigation for a car crash that killed multiple people earlier this month.
The closure is between Sinclair Marina Road and Old Williamsburg Road. The traffic shutdown will last 20 minutes between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
GDOT asks drivers to obey personnel and advanced warning postings.
Earlier this month, Baldwin County Sheriff authorities say three people died and two others were injured as a result of a single-SUV crash on U.S Highway 441 in Baldwin County.
