GC Basketball to Honor Military and First Responders at “Salute to America Night” Wednesday

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – The Georgia College basketball programs invite all fans to attend “Salute to America Night” Wednesday, Jan. 29 when the teams face Clayton State University at the Centennial Center. The Bobcat women start the night at 5:30 p.m. and the men immediately follow.

GC Athletics is offering free admission to the games for all members of the Armed Forces, First Responders and their guests. In order to honor these courageous men and women, GC Athletics will recognize those in attendance on the arena floor during the National Anthem, prior to the men’s contest.

Bobcat Athletics welcomes all Military and First Responders to enjoy both games, but recommends they arrive before 7 p.m. to receive the instructions over the public address system and joining the proceedings on the arena floor. We thank you for your service to our country.
