Gang activity charge dropped for Walmart vandalism suspect
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Macon Judicial Circuit District Attorney David Cooke is no longer seeking a criminal street gang activity charge against accused Walmart vandal, 18-year-old Vashaun Rozier.
In a news release Cooke says, although there was sufficient probable cause to seek a warrant for the charge, further investigation indicated that the offense should not proceed.
Charges of criminal damage to property and rioting against Rozier are expected to proceed.
