Free defensive driving classes for teenagers

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section is offering free defensive driving classes next month for teenagers. The classes are designed to help teens make good, sound decisions while driving, how to avoid distractions, and how to reduce injuries and crashes associated with teen drivers.

You must be 16-20 years old and bring a Georgia’s driver’s license. The the first two days of class will be at the Bibb County Sheriff’s Outreach Section Office at 2525 Pio Nono Avenue, Suite 110. The last two days will be at the Sheriff’s Training Facility at 110 Confederate Way in Macon.

The classes are happening July 10-13, July 17-20 and July 24-27. All class times from 9 AM – 1PM.

Breakfast and lunch will be available and seats are limited. For more information call the outreach at 478-803-2710.
