Fourth Annual Halloween on the Hill Set for October 30 at Georgia College

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. (GCSU RELEASE) – With the holiday for ghosts and goblins quickly approaching, Georgia College baseball head coach Tom Carty would like to add second basemen and pitchers to the list of Halloween characters. The Bobcat baseball program is partnering up with GC Student Health Services for “Halloween on the Hill” Wednesday, Oct. 30 at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

Held at Georgia College’s John Kurtz Field conveniently located off the 441 Bypass, the event will give local costumed youngsters a spooky and fun chance to meet and greet with the baseball team while getting healthy treats.

The event will also have face painting and other games. As an extra fun attraction, the Bobcat baseball team will hold a brief bone-chilling intersquad scrimmage with all members of the 2013-14 Bobcats dressed in their own Halloween costumes.

Young ghouls and girls can stick around for autographs and to meet the players after the game, additionally serving as judges to determine the best costume worn by a Bobcat baseball player.
