Four year-old in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself
WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A four year-old boy is in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in Warner Robins Wednesday afternoon.
The Warner Robins Police Department says it happened while the mother was picking up food at a local restaurant around 3:30 p.m. She left the boy and his three siblings in the car. That’s when police say the boy accidentally shot himself in the leg.
The boy is currently in the Intensive Care Unit at Egleston Children’s Hospital in Atlanta. According to police, doctors say his condition has improved.
No charges have been filed, but Warner Robins Police are still investigating.
