Four arrested in Twiggs County burglary ring
Condy Warren Ashe Jr., 53; Cory D. Brown, 24; Jeffery Blake Hasty, 30; and Joshua David Mixter, 33, are accused of breaking into Bibb, Jones and Twiggs County homes. Deputies claim they also broke into a hunting club on Fountain road.
The Twiggs County Sheriff’s Office began the month long investigation in December. Bibb, Jones and Twiggs County investigators were able to match shoe and fingerprints to identify the suspects.
The burglary suspects are accused of taking ATV’s, motorcycles, power tools, flat screen televisions and firearms. We’re told the items are valued at more than 15-thousand dollars.
“If you can solve a who done it, burglary or theft that nobody has a clue to who may have done it, and recover the people’s merchandise you really feel like you’ve done something,” Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum said.
According to the sheriff, all of the burglary suspects have previous arrest records.
Investigators are expected to make more arrests in the burglary ring case. They are also working to track down more stolen items.
