Fort Valley Police investigate gas station robbery

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Fort Valley Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Citgo gas station on MLK Drive in Peach County.

According to a Facebook post by the Fort Valley Department of Public Safety, two men walked in to the store around 11:00 p.m., Thursday and demanded money.

The store clerk says the men had a handgun.

One of the suspects is described as 6’1 to 6’3 in height and the other is around 5’0. Both are slender built and were dressed in all black during the robbery.

The two men fled the store with money from the cash register.
