Man hospitalized after Fort Hill Street shooting
Deputies say the 59-year-old victim was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A 59-year-old man was hospitalized after a shooting Monday morning on Fort Hill Street, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office confirmed Tuesday that deputies responded just after 11 a.m. Monday to the 1000 block of Fort Hill Street for a shooting.
Deputies found the 59-year-old man injured at the scene.
Paramedics responded and took him to a local hospital for treatment, according to the sheriff’s office. Medical staff listed the man in stable condition.
The sheriff’s office says the shooting remains under investigation and no additional details are available at this time.
