Forsyth business cleaning up after morning fire

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bryant’s Collision in Forsyth is repairing its building after a fire Monday morning.

Forsyth Fire Department Chief David Herndon said someone driving by noticed the fire around 7 a.m.

Firefighters found a car on fire in the garage and put it out.

No one was injured.

No foul play is suspected.

Chief Herndon said this is the second fire like this they’ve had in two months.

“Some work had been done and the car was set up, something happens in the electrical system and we’re not sure if that’s exactly what happened with this one, but that’s very similar to what had happened to the other one,” said Chief Herndon.

The business was closed Monday.

The owner doesn’t know when she will reopen.
