Former Principal Appointed To Replace Bibb Deputy Superintendent

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Bibb County Board of Education members have appointed Dr. Erin Weaver as a partial replacemement for Deputy Superintendent Susanne Griffin-Ziebart.

Weaver recently served as the school district’s director of early childhood education, prior to retiring in 2011. She has a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, a Specialist of Education in Early Childhood and a Master of Education in Reading from Georgia College, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Iowa State University.

Griffin-Ziebart served as interim superintendent of schools for three months after Dr. Romain Dallemand’s departure.
