Former Bibb deputy Clayton Sutton appeals firing for second time

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Former Bibb County deputy Clayton Sutton is appealing his firing for the second time.

Sutton was accused of fatally shooting an unarmed man in front of the Kroger on Pio Nono Avenue in December of 2012.

He was fire in June, but not because of that shooting.

Bibb Sheriff David Davis tells 41NBC Sutton disobeyed his order when he drew his gun and arrested two men during a traffic stop. Sutton was on desk duty at the time.

No word as to when the Superior Court judge will make a ruling.
