Five Star Kevin Brown Celebrity Classic adds a new sponsor

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A professional golfer and Macon-native will be a new sponsor in the Five Star Kevin Brown Celebrity Classic. 

The event will be renamed to include Russell Henley. Henley will work alongside former pro-baseball player Kevin Brown and Five Star Automotive officials to put on the tournament.

Proceeds will benefit the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia and the Macon Volunteer Clinic. 

“I’ve grown up around the Macon Volunteer Clinic that my dad started and just seeing that grow and evolve has been amazing. To see the people come through and help there, it just makes me want to get involved with the local things as much as possible,” said Henley. 

The next Celebrity Classic will be sometime in Fall 2015.
