First Hearing for Accused Murderer of Jmaal Keyes

HAWKINSVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Robert Rolison stood in front of a judge for the first time today after he was arrested for the murder of Jmaal Keyes.

Earlier this year 19-year-old Keyes went missing, and his remains were found inside a burned down cabin near Rolison’s home in Hawkinsville.

Rolison pleaded not guilty for malice murder and concealing the death of Keyes.

His defense attorney Jeffrey Grube, asked Judge H. Frederick Mullis, Jr. to move the official trial date to next spring. Judge Mullis agreed.

Rolison remains in the Pulaski County Jail without bond.
