First baby of 2026 born at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon

Baby Bryant was born just after midnight on New Year’s Day.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Atrium Health Navicent The Medical Center is welcoming its first baby of 2026.

According to Atrium Health Navicent, baby Bryant was born at 12:50 a.m. on New Year’s Day at The Medical Center in Macon.

Hospital officials say his parents were delighted to welcome him into their family as the new year began.
