Fire destroys Milledgeville duplex

MILLEDGEVILLE, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Fire totally destroyed a duplex on Vinson Highway in Milledgeville Thursday morning.

Baldwin County Fire Battalion Chief Young says they responded to a call in reference to a fire twice. Initially fire crews came out to the residence at 11:00 a.m. and later returned to the home between 4:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to put out another fire.

No one was inside at the time.

This incident is under investigation.
