MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Temperatures will reach the mid to upper 70s around the region Friday afternoon as skies stay  sunny.

This Evening

It’s been a gorgeous day across Middle Georgia and conditions will stay clear into tonight. A few high clouds will be possible overnight but aside from that skies will be clear. Temperatures will valley in the upper 30s and lower 40s across the region. Wind will be light out of the north-northwest.

Tomorrow

Another sunny day will cap off the work week around Middle Georgia as temperatures rise into the mid to upper 70s. The warmest locations may graze 80. Wind will be light and variable but generally out of the east throughout the afternoon.

Overnight will be clear with lows hovering around 40 degrees. Wind will be light from the south-southwest around 5 mph.

This Weekend

Conditions will continue to warm over the weekend as skies stay mostly sunny with temperatures creeping towards 80 degrees across the region. Rain odds will remain negligible and wind will generally flow out of the southwest. Overnight lows will see a significant jump as heading into the weekend they will be near 40 degrees while over the back half of the weekend they’ll be closer to 50.
