Fantastic Friday weather on deck

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Friday will feature a fall like morning and pleasant afternoon conditions.
This Evening
Clouds from this afternoon will gradually clear heading into the evening, and save for the southeastern counties skies over the region should be clear through the night. It will be well below average tonight as temperatures fall below 70 degrees around midnight, bottoming out in the lower 60s. A few spots may even crack into the upper 50s. Talk about a taste of autumn! Wind will be out of the east-northeast at 5-10 mph.
Tomorrow
Friday will be one of the nicest days Middle Georgia has seen in months. Wake up temperatures will be in the lower 60s, and afternoon highs will peak in the mid to upper 80s. Winds will be breezy from the east-northeast at 7-15 mph, gusting upwards of 20 mph. On top of that, skies will feature plenty of sun through most of the afternoon. Some high clouds may begin to move in during the evening, coming up from the southeast. Rain is not expected during the day.
Friday night football will be played in great conditions as temperatures should be in the lower 80s and upper 70s around kickoff. Folk who get cold easily and are going to be out late may want to bring a light sweater as temperatures drop towards the 60s during the late evening. Rain is also not expected overnight as skies will feature scattered cirrus clouds. Low temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s accompanied by a northeasterly wind at 5-10 mph.
