Family of Parker Moore pushes for answers in unsolved Warner Robins murder case
Family uses podcast feature, billboards, and increased reward to bring renewed attention to 2018 killing

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The family of Parker Moore is continuing their push for justice nearly eight years after his death, working to bring renewed attention to a case that remains unsolved in Warner Robins.
Moore was killed during a robbery at a Barberitos in January 2018. While an arrest was made early in the investigation, new evidence later changed the direction of the case and it remains open today.
“We lost a child to tragedy but the story does not have to end there,” said Andy Moore. “We just feel like his light was bright enough not to be put out and we’re going to show evil hey you didn’t win this time.”
Investigators with the Warner Robins Police Department say the case is still active, with new leads continuing to come in.
“There’s been quite a few interviews and new leads gathered over the last year, year and a half, so it’s still a very active and ongoing case,” said Justin Clark.
Moore’s family is now working to bring the case to a national audience. An upcoming episode of the True Crime Garage will focus on Parker’s story, highlighting both the circumstances of his death and who he was as a person.
“We want Parker’s story, not only how Parker was taken obviously, that’s what this is about justice, but we want Parker’s life and who he was as well to have as much reach as possible,” said Leah Maas.
The family has also secured funding through the nonprofit Season of Justice to place two billboards in Warner Robins. Those billboards are expected to go up next week in high traffic areas as part of an effort to keep the case visible in the community.
Moore’s parents say their goal is to make sure the case stays in the public eye because they believe someone has information that could help investigators.
“We’re not able to have a good night’s rest,” Andy Moore said. “We’re worried about Parker’s case, we’re worried about information, it’s always just a living nightmare.”
The reward in the case has also increased. According to the family, the FBI added $5,000 to the existing Crimestoppers reward, bringing the total to $13,000.
They hope renewed attention through national exposure, billboards and increased reward money will finally lead to answers.
The podcast episode is scheduled to air Tuesday, May 12 at 8 p.m.
