MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Cherry Blossom Festival announced Thursday its fourth major headliner for the upcoming festival’s Nightly Concert Series. ERNEST, the 2022 CMA Triple Play Award winner, is set to perform at the festival finale on Sunday, March 24, 2024, on Carolyn Crayton Park’s Coca-Cola Entertainment Stage.

The festival says ERNEST has been labeled “The Charmer” by MusicRow and is recognized as one of Music City’s rising stars. His unique blend of influences, ranging from Eminem to George Jones, has crafted a distinct verse style, earning him eight #1 hits. His album, FLOWER SHOPS (THE ALBUM), acclaimed by Holler and The Tennessean, showcases his classical country side.

According to the festival, ERNEST just wrapped his first-ever sold-out headlining Sucker For Small Towns Tour this past fall and will hit the road in March as direct support on Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour.

The festival wants to remind attendees about its clear bag policy but encourages guests to bring their own lawn chairs.

The 2024 Cherry Blossom Festival will be held March 15-24, 2024. Admission to the festival is $10 daily, with no charge for children 10 and under. The concert series is included in this admission fee.

Grammy winner Lupe Fiasco, country music group Parmalee and Season 22 winner of NBC’s The Voice Bryce Leatherwood will also take the stage during the festival.
