Eleven people arrested in Drug Ring bust
Dublin, Georgia (41 NBC/WMGT) – The feds are looking to make more arrests after busting a drug ring operating in Lauren County.
Federal DEA agents, US Marshals and Lauren County deputies raided seven homes last Friday, and arrested 11 people for drug trafficking.
Georgia Department of Corrections canine teams were also used during the search.
The federal agents confiscated approximately a kilo of cocaine, with a street value close to $80,000, ten vehicles, several guns, and nearly $10,000 in cash.
The suspects involved in the drug case are charged with trafficking cocaine or conspiracy to distribute cocaine. They are; Verdell Goins Jr., 43, of Baltimore, Md., Michael Derrick Goins, 42 of Miami, Fl., Andre Colita Wright, 38, Anatay S. Kyler, 34, Christopher Derrick Duty, 34, Jerome Kellam, 36, Takvin Jolani Watkins, 18, Mario Maddox, 25, Deasia Spikes, 17, Amy Linton, 30, and Willie Jones, all of Dublin.
