Elderly woman dead after motorhome catches fire on I-75

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – An elderly woman from Pennsylvania died Sunday after the motorhome she was in crashed and caught fire Friday morning.

It happened on I-75 South near Hartley Bridge Road.

Investigators say 75-year-old Porsha Krehely’s husband lost control of the 1995 Ford Motor Home. It hit the median wall, turned on its side and caught fire.

Witnesses pulled Krehely and her husband from the vehicle. She was airlifted to the Augusta Burn Center and died two days later.
