Eastman police investigating shooting that left man hospitalized
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. in the area between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue and found multiple shell casings in the roadway.

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Police are investigating an early morning shooting on Main Street that left a 21-year-old man injured Saturday.
According to a news release, officers responded to reports of gunfire around 2:30 a.m. in the area between 9th Avenue and 11th Avenue and found multiple shell casings in the roadway. A male victim was found lying in the street with a gunshot wound to the leg.
First responders applied a tourniquet to stop bleeding before emergency medical services took him to a local hospital. His condition was not immediately released.
Investigators were called to process the scene, and the case remains active. Police have not announced any suspects or a motive.
