Easter weekend to be hot across Middle Georgia

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) –
This Evening
Friday was a warm and sunny end to the week with temperatures that climbed largely into the mid 80s this afternoon. Expect a warm night tonight as lows will hover around or just below the 60 degree mark. Wind will be out of the south at around 5-10 mph. Some fog will be possible leading up to Saturday morning.
Tomorrow
Saturday will be a hot afternoon with highs reaching towards 90 degrees around the region. Wind will flow from the south at 5-10 mph with gusts pushing to around 15. The UV Index will likely be around 9 for many in Middle Georgia, so those spending time outdoors should wear sunblock.
Overnight will see more high clouds move in, possibly blanketing the region. Fog will also be possible leading up to Sunday morning. Lows will largely be in the lower 60s across the region with that wind staying out of the south-southeast at 5-10 mph.
Easter Sunday
Easter could begin with some fog before more sun takes over in the afternoon. While more cloud cover is expected than Saturday, things will still lean towards the sunny side. Highs will again largely be in the upper 80s across the region with UV Index hovering between 7-8. Sunblock will be needed for outdoor egg hunts. Overnight will be partly to mostly cloudy with lows expected in the lower 60s. Fog will again be possible leading up to Monday morning.
