UPDATE: East Dublin man dies after August Riverview Apartments shooting
The GBI says Johnny Hall IV died on August 26, six days after he was shot multiple times outside Riverview Apartments.

UPDATE (9/4/25): The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) says the man who was shot multiple times outside Riverview Apartments last month has died.
According to a news release, 20-year-old Johnny Hall IV of East Dublin died from his injuries on August 26. Hall was the victim found outside the Riverview Apartments on August 20.
The GBI said the investigation is still active and ongoing. No arrests have been made.

EAST DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says it is assisting Dublin Police with an aggravated assault case after a 20-year-old East Dublin man was shot multiple times.
According to a GBI news release, officers responded around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday to the 200 block of Riverview Drive in Laurens County. A citizen had called 911 after finding the man lying outside Riverview Apartments.
Investigators determined the victim had been shot several times. He was taken to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition, the GBI said in a news release.
No arrest has been made.
