Early morning fire damages Milledgeville business
Baldwin County Fire Rescue arrived on the scene just after 4:15 in the morning.
Flames spouted out of the saw mill area, but did not spread into other parts of the nearly 12,000 square foot building.
There was no damage to the finished hardwood product, which was contained in the other parts of the building.
32 Baldwin County firefighters helped douse the flames, using a ladder truck and four engines.
It took about two hours to get the fire under control.
Firefighters stayed for about six hours total, making sure hot spots were out.
No one was injured.
Harrisburg Road had to be closed due to fire hoses blocking the roadway.
41NBC called to find out the cause of the fire, but investigators were not available.
