Dublin Police, GBI investigating deadly shooting near Coleman Court Apartments

A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night near Coleman Court Apartments in Dublin, according to the Dublin Police Department.

DUBLIN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A 19-year-old man was shot and killed Sunday night near Coleman Court Apartments in Dublin, according to the Dublin Police Department.

According to a news release, officers responded to a report of shots fired at the complex on Kersey Lane around 9:23 p.m. When they arrived, they found Tayon Dopson dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

The Dublin Police Department and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation are investigating.
