Dual-branded Marriott hotel set to open at Georgia National Fairgrounds in 2025

Retreat Hotels & Resorts, the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority (GAEA) and the City of Perry have announced the construction of a new dual-branded Marriott hotel, set to open at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in summer 2025.

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Retreat Hotels & Resorts, the Georgia Agricultural Exposition Authority (GAEA) and the City of Perry have announced the construction of a new dual-branded Marriott hotel, set to open at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter in summer 2025.

According to a press release, the 129-key hotel combines two Marriott brands under one roof – TownePlace Suites and Fairfield by Marriott – offering 66 and 63 keys, respectively.

“We are delighted to support the new hotel at the Georgia National Fairgrounds & Agricenter,” City of Perry Mayor Randall Walker said. “I look forward to seeing the positive impact this project will have on our community now and for future generations.”

The project will feature an air-conditioned corridor connecting it to the adjacent Miller Murphy Howard Center conference facility, along with amenities including a large pool, fitness center, guest laundry, bar and restaurant.

The Marriott-affiliated project will be the first in the Perry market and the only Marriott property within a 15-mile radius.

The Fairgrounds hosts more than 200 events each year, attracting approximately one million visitors.
