Driver killed in single-vehicle Twiggs County crash

TWIGGS COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Twiggs County on Friday morning, according to the Georgia State Patrol.
Troopers responded to the crash at 7:27 a.m. on Walters Road.
Investigators said a Toyota Corolla was traveling west on Walters Road while negotiating a left curve when it left the roadway onto the south shoulder. The vehicle rotated counterclockwise and struck two large trees with its right side.
Authorities said the driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries.
