Dogs rescued from storm drain in Baldwin County

BALDWIN COUNTY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — Several dogs were rescued from a storm drain on Monday with help from multiple Baldwin County agencies.

Baldwin County Fire Rescue said crews assisted Baldwin County Animal Control and the Water Department after several dogs were discovered inside the drain.

According to the department, Animal Control personnel were working to reach the dogs when firefighters joined the effort and helped safely remove them from the storm drain.

No injuries were reported in the department’s social media post.

Baldwin County Fire Rescue credited the successful rescue to teamwork among the agencies involved.

“Whether it’s an emergency response, a rescue, or simply helping another department accomplish the mission, it’s all about teamwork and serving our community,” the department said.
