Sheriff: Fire contained at Dodge County Law Enforcement Center, no injuries reported
Sheriff Brian Robinson says all inmates and personnel are accounted for and safe.

EASTMAN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) — A fire at the Dodge County Law Enforcement Center was quickly contained Wednesday with no injuries reported, according to Sheriff Brian Robinson.
Robinson said in a social media post that the Eastman Fire Department responded to the facility between 6 and 7 p.m.
According to Robinson, Eastman Fire Chief Daryl Maxwell and other firefighters found a large amount of smoke coming from a dryer vent and quickly contained the fire.
Robinson said all inmates and personnel are accounted for and safe. Cleanup at the facility is expected to continue “into the night.”
